Juliana brought in her beautiful Mistake Rib scarf to show us. It's made out of Brown Sheep's newest yarn, Lanaloft yarn. For those of you who don't know about Lanaloft, it's 100% wool, spunned and dyed by Brown Sheep Co. 100% American Made!
The majority of the yarn used in Lanaloft's line is from Colorado sheep.

Thank you to Brown Sheep Co. for sponsoring this event. Everyone who attended received a ball of either Lanaloft or Lamb's Pride yarn. How fun is that!
I also introduced the square circular knitting needles invented by kolláge. It is really true by what they say, "easy on your hands and more uniform stitches." I never thought I would enjoy knitting on these squared shaped needles but I do! I am convinced that it has helped me knit longer and more comfortable than with some other needles.
Susan Moraca from kolláge yarns informed me that they brought production back from China to the U.S. and started distributing the needles last June. I was thrilled to hear this!
