When I opened the package, I started sniffing this yarn. I couldn't stop sniffing it! It's the most wonderful smell I have ever experienced. The directions state "to blossom before knitting, please wash gently in tepid water with a little Quince Lanolin soap (or dish soap), rinse, blot and dry." As far as I am concern this yarn has already blossom and smells terrific. I am in heaven! LOL I can't wait to knit something out of this. I might just keep it in its natural state.
The Stashbot booklet is a must to have. It's a guide to our yarn buying. As we know, many times when we are in a yarn store and spot some yarn that we can't live without, we buy on impulse. So keep in mind when looking and feeling the lovely yarn, what would you like to create out of it. What is this yarn telling you to make? Get out this handy booklet and look for gauge and size. BINGO! At least it will give you guidelines on the yardage and metric from sweaters, hats, socks, neckwear, and mittens. From Baby sizes to XL Adults. This booklet also goes into why we buy and tips when shopping, and organizing
